High Elevation driving in the Vail area is spectacular. Awesome views of the Gore Range and high mountain scenery, this is a moderate drive in the heart of Colorado ski country. We will meet at the famous Camp Hale, which was used for training soldiers in the 1940's for alpine missions in Europe during World War II. Drive through the hamlet of Redcliff and climb into the mountains. The fall colours will be spactacular!
